Draper Anti-Freeze Tester 01053

For testing methanol and ethylene glycol. With green and white scales. Green scale should be used when the engine is hot and white scale should be used when the engine is cold. Testing range: Methanol -40°C -12°C, Ethylene Glycol -34°C -12°C. Manufactured with a glass tube, PVC bulb and spout.
Features:

• For testing Methanol glycol and Ethylene glycol Anti-freeze in hot or cold engines.
• Checks the frost protection of anti-freeze in a cooling system by measuring the density of the water/anti-freeze mixture.
• Important: Before use remove protective packing and ensure weighted end of float with granules is nearest to inlet/outlet nozzle. Although this tester is more accurate when the engine is hot, always allow a minimum of 30mins after switch off before removing radiator cap.
