Japanese high carbon steel hardened, tempered, straightened and stress relieved to ensure blade straightness with steel back for accuracy. Fine ground blade surface coated in ultra - tough lacquer to prevent corrosion and ease friction during sawing. 11tpi/12ppi tooth design to allow fast cutting and sawdust removal in both forward and reverse action. Each tooth is hardened to prevent tooth snap. Shock absorbing ergonomic soft grip handle.
